Neat idea, but I think you could have stretched a little further. It's Memory, with all the inherent benefits and flaws as such -- the challenge mechanic really isn't there. Next time I hope you can dive a little deeper :)

It's a good start but would have been more fun if you added in new mechanics and symbols as the player progresses.

A non-installation version would be nice.

a) don't use installer next time
b) intro screen with the text hanging too long, i was already getting ready to kill the process (this is really ridiculous)
c) gameplay is primitive variation on memory
d) you're generating positions randomly and you're not ensuring that they don't overlap, which might complicate the game / render it unplayable

+ It's playable and finished
- Gameplay has little relation to escape(if it weren't for the text there would be nothing to go on)
- It fails me with "out of time" when it really should say "clicked the wrong one." That one confused me for a bit.
- Even for this game, the shapes are too abstract and don't conjure any imagery for me.

You've too much time on your hand, otherwise ok.
That installer is really a little bit much, but I guess that comes with the xna.

Installer is a big no-no ... and with this kind of gameplay and presentation, you could have learned and used Flash in the 48 hours. ;-)
Perhaps it would be cool if the chips would fly and bounce off the walls, that would be something new.

don't really have much to say that hasn't been said. a neat idea and a good start for something that could be very cool. just uh... lose the installer.
