Membrum by Electron

[raw]
made by Electron for LD35 (JAM)
Membrum is a hack n' slash / shooter action arcade game in which we control a a character with the power to convert one of its limbs into three different weapons and Fight three different types of monsters.
A weapon will only damage a single type of enemy.
The Sword will damage the dog like creatures.
The Punch will damage the giant creatures.
The Gun will damage the bee like creatures.

Controls -
W - jump
A/D - left/right
Space - toggle between weapons
LMB - Use the weapon

P.S - A lot of the art seems very very unpolished, this is because just a few hours ago. The Software (Game Maker Studio) crashed (maybe because I had the beta/unstable) version. So I lost a lot of hard work but nonetheless Hope you enjoy :)

Nice game. Loved the platformer mechanics. That shape-shifting hand is bad ass ! Also, pretty sweet visuals. :)

Like it. Can see myself playing more although I am rubbish at such games. Started getting better when I figured out you need to dance around the big guys. Liked the graphics, intrigued to know what they would have been like without the data loss you mentioned. Sound needs work - music maybe?

Even though the graphics were simple, they still had a certain amount of polish to their animation. I especially liked the sword attack animation, it just works really well. The sounds were good too, although there was no music. The game is fun, the changing weapons to deal with different monsters is very fun and engaging, I liked it a lot.
