Shapechanger (incomplete) by Goldendice
I "escaped" from finishing this game - not because I didn't have time, but because it was going in a direction I didn't like. The introduction is still fully functioning and the game mechanics work properly (although they lack the later content to be able to demonstrate such).
Escape is used in both a literal sense (the very beginning) and a metaphorical sense (escape from the physical self) although I did not fully flesh out the second.

Mostly this was a learning experience for me - as my first LD, I found it very different from a miniLD. In the future, I plan on brainstorming ideas for ALL themes before the competition, doing art by hand and scanning it, and not giving the player effectively over 1 billion options per encounter (1,889,568,000 to be precise - the main reason I ended up scrapping this project)
