The controls were really smooth and it felt good dodging through traffic. Often I found myself stuck in a spot in traffic I couldn't quite pass, I think to keep the player feeling awesome about evading the police there should always be an opening to move through. If the game was purely about traffic avoidance, without cops, I would probably keep the traffic how it is now.

Cool blur effect on the lights. Felt that the highway was a little too packed and the car moved too quickly side to side, but those just come down to taste.

Not a very creative game... sticks to a formula with nothing new. I made a game very similar to this myself once. I don't really like the damage meter/system.

Otherwise it's quite fun to play! I loved the acceleration/brake controls... felt very smooth and realistic. I thought side to side was a little to drifty but I got used to it quickly. I do actually like how the traffic blocks you out and you have to pay attention to the relative speed different lanes. The lights are nice but they seem to trail with the screen.

super cool! I liked the graphics and the damage effects. I wonder if by making the traffic more sparse, and adding more cops and good samaritans that came out of nowhere and tried to run you off the road if that would make it more exciting. Also ocasional intersections, or the opportunity to jump the median and run against trafic.

haha, tons of dumb ideas from me... too many police chases on tv.

Good first entry! I've played games with a similar feel, but the controls were smooth, the game ran well and things looked good. There did seem to be a tendency to hit walls of cars, which wasn't great. Also, you could imagine having turns which might make the game a lot more challenging. But given the short amount of time I think you ended up with a very playable game!

Very nicely done. Controls are pretty good, graphics are very nice, smoke effect/sparkles are epic. Collisions could be better, such as, brushing against someone doesn't cause damage as much damage as crushing into them. I would have liked it to be faster with less cars though, sometimes you get all nearby lanes blocked and no way around.

Awesome control system, and a fun game. The low res was a bit of a problem for me, as i only realised that there was a damage bar on the 2nd game (it was below the line). A really good first effort.

Very cool game. I especially liked the smoke when the car got too damaged. Somehow I got the highest scores when I moved as fast as the other cars and avoided collisions this way :)

Really nice start. To take it to the next level, you could have the other cars respond more to being hit- let me knock them out of the way, or into each other, or into the cops! Or make the cops more aggressive so I have more of a reason to escape them - and give me an oncoming traffic lane that I can swerve into to cause the cops to crash!

I think it's a sign of a good game when you make the players start imagining what they would add. You've done that. Good job, especially for your first time around.

Excellent visuals and gameplay, my only complaint is that there should have always been a way I could go. Sometimes all lanes were filled and I couldn't keep going.

this looked and felt really smooth, the graphics were really nice, but i found myself stuck in traffic far too often. though i can't help but feel games of this genre have kind of been done to death...

A fairly fun game, though a few little problems were very annoying (solid wall of traffic in front for example). A lovely concept well executed given the time!

I like that the controls and gameplay are simple and straightforward. Also, the non-standard screen size was a nice touch.

Hey good job! Reminds me of the classic GTA a lot. I'd love to be able to push cars around a bit tho.
