Jailed by the Ministry of Project Management by tcstyle
Find jailed.exe in the unzipped folder and run.
Everything necessary is explained in the game. Try to beat "Insane" difficulty.
Written with python2.6 and pygame - if you want to try out the source with Linux/Mac please give me some feedback.
** Additional Update: If you are on Mac/Linux and run the game use 'jailed.py'!! 'escape.py' is an outdated version of the game (Saturday of LD).
* Update: Got some feedback that it runs on Linux, so I add this to the links. Just start "jailed.py" and have pygame installed. I will try it out myself as soon as I have some Linux running on my old laptop.
* Insane isn't really that hard to beat because I messed up the level generator (check the journal link below the screenshots for an explanation). Postcompo will get an improved generator.

Insane is perfectly winnable (done 3 times now) but seems to be much more based on luck. I think you should get more information (of some sort) on higher levels.
It's a bit lacking on the tactical side, as you can't see everything from the beginning and getting new food is too random ... but I played it several times, which tells something. (I also beat the "Insane" mode, which wasn't much harder than the other modes.)
The only thing I didn't like was the graphics, or better, the choice of colours. The music is cheap, but sets the atmosphere perfectly ... but the bright ground just doesn't fit. If you would fix that + more interactivity / tactical gameplay, it would become a nice little coffe break game. :-)
Anyway; good job :)
