/ Mission: Earth Escape /
/-------------------------+
- History
In the future earth is overrun with pollution. It was the bad kind of pollution! Something had to happen for mankind to survive!
Scientists quickly discovered the solution. Humans had to move to other planets.
To do so surveying is needed, and most likely terraforming to make the environment suit the fragile human.
- Mission: The Earth Escape!
- You
You are the spaceship pilot! Haven't you always wanted to captain a terraforming delivery rocket?
Your main job is to avoid crashing into planets, and also keeping tabs on fuel economy
- Missions
Recog: Fly around planets to gather data. The closer you get the more detailed info you can get, which means more money! When you can't get more, press escape or crash.
Terraforming: Slam your spaceship(you included) into the planet marked with a white rectangle. The faster the more material you'll displace, which means more money!
- Controls
Mouse wheel controls zoom level.
G toggles gravitational field visibility.
WASD controls spaceship
Green gauge shows fuel level
Red/orange gauge shows grav. force
- Technology
Code: Object Pascal
(FreePascal Compiler)
Using ZenGL as a framework
Sound: None. There's no sound in
space... :)
GFX: Paint.Net
Dependencies: OpenGL+GLU(It should most likely work straight away if compiled on Linux or OSx)

The uppermost item on every menu is missing for some reason (maybe it's just me?), but the game was still perfectly playable. :]
Flying around the planets was pretty fun, but I thought it was a little confusing how you're supposed to "end" your missions (having ESC say "Mission accomplished!" was the most confusing). Great idea, though!
It's way too easy to upgrade everything completely (I did it after the first mission), and then there isn't much else to do.
This game has great potential.
