Dwarflings by eggplantanimation
Your prisoners, the dwarves, are escaping! Move with the arrow keys. Press space to jump. Turrets cost $50 to place. Place them with the down button. They can be moved by standing in front of one, and pressing up. Press up again to drop it. After a few shots, the dwarves will fall. Pick them up by walking over them. Move them to the jail, and trap them. If you don't pick them up in time, they will get up. See how many of you 200 prisoners you can keep!

you should make a polished version of the general idea on Android, I love me some tower defense
I didn't like the way the dwarves pushed me if I was standing still.
My biggest complaint is that the gameplay just doesn't feel very rewarding. It's hard to tell what to do at first, then once you "get it" it stops being much fun. I did manage to "only" let 44 / 200 escape (200 is WAY too many dwarves, IMHO).
After seeing "game over," I was told to check the log for errors. Here's the log:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "Dare.py", line 178, in <module>
File "character.pyo", line 21, in __init__
pygame.error: Couldn't open resources/testchar/front_1.png
This was my 1st LD as well; congrats on finishing!
