Well hello callidus. This is a nice little game you got here. I feel like there either is not much in it or I just don't understand. I couldn't find a gameplay explanation anywhere. I sort of just waked around, apparently was killing by a slime, tried to open things that look like chests or coffins but couldn't, and then I apparently reached the exit. Seems like you've got the start of something here, but it's not complete. I'd love to see where it goes though, you've got a good atmosphere and engine.

Thanks for the feedback demonpants, yeah there was a lot of other stuff I wanted to put in. Locked doors, keys, monsters, items ect ect :-P none of it really got done in time. I will be working on this post LD as well though, I hoping to turn it into something more fun.

Although it is nice to see HTML5 based games, but I dislike your game. I am not here to bash it, just to do constructive criticism. There's no explanation on how to play it. When the player moves, the screen does not scroll smoothly, and it kinda makes me feel dizzy. And I don't know what is a good tile, and what is bad a tile. Put some smooth scrolling, an explanation, I am sure you'll have a great game =)

Also it worked fine on Firefox (played the web version). But the offline version (on the Linux link) does not work (neither on Firefox, neither on Chromium).

Good looking game, just needs some actual gameplay. Simply walking with WASD wasn't enough to draw me back in after I died. While not a huge deal, the footstep sound was really hard to listen to after a while.

Does not work on chrome neither on firefox :(

Works in Firefox 6.0.1. Not a bad entry, but it does need more gameplay. I don't mind screen not scrolling smoothly, but it does need some clear in-game explanations or deeper mechanics.
