"It's A Bunny Story, Actually..." by Zed

[raw]
made by Zed for LD21 (-)
A simple, (hopefully) charming 2D platformer, with some very 'unique' background music/sound effects. If people like it, I'll be fleshing it out into a more 'fully featured' title at some point in the future.

Everything is more-or-less self-explanatory.

I've since begun an 8bitfunding project to try and raise some money to turn "It's A Bunny Story, Actually..." into a full commercial title. More info available here: http://8bitfunding.com/project_details.php?p_id=221

Please help my dreams come true? Love you forever?

I liked the game; the audio and humour are its greatest assets. Genuinely fun to play :D

"Tell me, what IS a bunny?" Hahaha awesome!
The graphics are really cute, and the soundtrack is fantastic! The gameplay was very simple and straightforward, but quite pleasant too. Well done!

Good level design.
I really liked the funny voiced sound/music.
Good controls.
No bugs (as far as I can tell).
Well done.

That is one hella happy sun! Gameplay isn't very original, but the controls are very smooth and responsive - controlling the bunny was a breeze. Liked how you utilized various animals and creatures instead of the generic spikes and lava pits.

And the music was made of epic win! :D

After reading the comments I felt I really wanted to play, or at least see how it was like, but no windows here. Any possibility to upload a screencast anywhere?

The audio and humor made me push through this one. It is definitely worth polishing up a bit.

The bosses had to much health to make you restart from them after one hit. Also they could have used some kind of on screen health meter.

There were some extremely tight jumps on the moon stage going over the four octopi in a row.

But this project is near the top in my book, not the best, but close.

Good god I'm sick of your voice! At first it was hilarious, but during the cut-scene it was really distracting and I had to turn it off so I could read the text. Even during the levels it got really irritating after the first time. It was nice idea, but it WAY too much. I like the graphics a lot, though.

The game-play wasn't bad, but it was a pretty bland and unoriginal platformer when you look at it. Also, the hitboxes felt pretty strange. The level design was really bland and linear, and every level was pretty much the same (they were harder, but they didn't feel fresh). The boss fights were fun.

Good work overall, but the levels needed some improvement.

The audio and graphics are very charming, but the gameplay could be downright frustrating. Collisiond detection is less than perfect, and having to start bosses over in one hit made me not finish this one.

Cute game though.

Crazy soundtrack is pushing this game up from other simple platformers. I would really like to play other levels (to hear the soundtrack, I hope there's more), but I just wasn't able to kill the bear, after his speed increases to max (I hope it's max!) I was never able to jump over him without getting killed. You did it too hard, at least for me.

Nice game, good luck with your endeavor! Soundtrack is hilarious. Collisions need work and boss battle is a bit hard. Certainly polish needed, and preferably in the art department.

Good game, nice audio, but sometimes a little bit annoying. Couldn't get past the level 2 boss (soz, i r noob). But I had fun playing this game... Also it is very hard to read the cutscenes while the "music" is playing, and after the first boss I accidentally skiped the cutscene, by using my "reaccional skills"... Great job =)

That soundtrack! Great! Everything else: solid platformer. The occtopy part on the moon was tricky.
