Maybe there is a God hiding somewhere. Maybe he doesn't care for those who look up to him for survival. Maybe he is just tired in his silence, bored in his imperceptibility.

And maybe that God is you.

Updated to fix the crash bug. Also removed unnecessary dependencies from the sources, so now they are less painful to look at and easier to compile.

I didn't vote re:humor as I'm not using my audio at work. I did have the window just disappear while playing.

err, re:audio. I can't type, apparently.

Does not run on Linux as advertised.
It throws the following errors :

Re: linux crash. Sorry, I've missed linux dependencies in the package. Please check the updated linux link (NoProgramL.zip) - that one should work. Please report, if it does not.

Re: sound and window disappearing -> No, it doesn't have any sound. Regarding the crash bug - can you confirm whether you have the NoProgram.zip or Noprogram-fixes.zip version? I've fixed the only known crash bug in the latter one. If it's another one, I'd badly want to know what you've been doing :).

re: Windows 7.

64 bit, right? Sorry, I've missed those dependencies. Please download the fixed package (link updated) NoProgram-fixes2.zip and give it a try.

Very interesting idea for a game!

Thank you, KhaoTom :). There's plenty of space for improvements and more in-depth mechanics - an expanded version is planned for the future.

Worked fine for me (Windows 7). Had more fun playing than I expected to from the screenshot. I played until everyone was dead :-)

What's the goal of this game? The concept is nevertheless quite interesting but the presentation is rather poor.

Hah, interesting and quite funny idea. Unfortunately the game crashed before any conclusion was reached...

cant run, same problems as the others, building a copy of lwjgl and putting it in the java.library.path does not help either, that causes a error for wrong pointer size (this is on 64 bit)

Its a fun idea, and could be polished into a nice little sim.

Buttons that have no valid options should be greyed out eg. repairing for a race when that race has no damaged machines and the same for the parent repair button when no race has any damaged machines.

I would like to be able to create (import/engineer/order) new races, or possibly have overpopulated races split and claim territory left after another race dies.

Possibly war over territory and/or machines rather than just raw resources.

I found towards the end of my playtime that I was clicking next turn very quickly while watching the balance of the numbers change. If an event occurred I often missed it as the event log is cleared each time.

Final note: I like that when feeling indifferent you can still gain fun points after everyone dies.

Interesting idea; needs work before becoming a fun game..

Ended up getting to turn ~150 with 40k ish points before I ended up killing them all. I was disappointed with the lack of any acknowledgement at what I'd done. Cool concept though, but could use some work.

Really cool concept and intro sequence.

This is a great concept that doesn't quite come together. I liked the changing moods a lot, but I think it would have heightened interest if there were some other constraint (for example, a time limit before some external force comes and rescues everyone). I also had a random crash after about 50 turns.

Pretty neat idea, but it isn't that fun and becomes pointless quickly. I wish there were some ending (multiple endings?) or some other goal.
