This game is a platform game, made in Java using LWJGL and Slick library. Sounds made with SFXR.

19 December I made a small bugfix in relation to jumping,
fixed the 'About' text, and reset the save file (forgot to do that).

Nice game. I don't understand why your friend goes insane and tries to kill you, but whatever. The graphics were nice, the engine was a bit odd but capable.
I was confused by your friend randomly attacking you (especially since you still got a Game Over when he died) and the fact that the movable boxes teleported rather than moving and falling normally was odd.
Those issues aside, it was a great game!
The friend was a nice addition, but I can't quite get them to jump over the pits.
I really liked this game. The graphics were beautiful, except for the player, too much gray. But the raining for example was beautiful :D. For the most part it was fun, and the gameplay went smooth. Although your friend could really be annoying you sometimes :P
The only problem was that I didn't understand the story, wich was a bit of a mistake. If you had add a story, I could understand what was going on. Why that guy wants those plants, and about his strange friend. It could have added a lot more mood.
But for 48 hours, you did an amazing job! Keep up the good work :D
Funny thing is: I thought the level design was horrible because it was rushed horribly at the end.
My biggest problem was that I didn't exactly know what to do with the game, so I ended up making something I didn't plan beforehand.
I think for my first compo it turned out OK.
