foreveralone by ibnutri

[raw]
made by ibnutri for LD22 (JAM)
Submitted Top down shooter with WASD and arrow button
Nothing fancy here (it was supposed to be funny because the player's bullet
should be spelled #foreverAlone), and everytime the boss die, it will say
something that would be searchable from twitter.

That was the idea, but the execution is failed. X(

so now it only 3 level (yup) no kitten easter egg, no sound and music,
even i forgot to make forever alone in pixel art XD.

Sorry :(

There needs to be a life indicator. Also sometimes 'enter' doesn't restart the game for some reason. And most importantly, I see no correlation with the theme XD

I agree with Randomasta. I didn't know how much health I had until I died.

Nice idea!
Maybe try to do a remake for it.
The overall idea is pretty good!

Oh man, dunno what to say. For a jam entry, after 72 hours with 2 people and a game engine you managed to do that?

The graphics are pretty non existant. Theme wise and mood wise, I can't see much here. There is no humor, no fun to play.

The controls are annoying. As I can only walk horizontally OR vertically? Both would be much better. But even with these controls, managing to finish 3 levels was easy.

Not impressed. This could be a simple prototype after, say, 5 hours of work. Could have put in much more effort on that one. I neither see any heart, nor any major effort in doing something.

You didn't even blog about the progress, your pitfalls, or make a timelapse. That's sad.

Hope you'll do better next time, and I don't wanna sound harsh here, but you could have done so much better. Even a post mortem with your learnings would be better because it helped people.

Good luck next time.

Good, but too short. I made it in 1 minute.
