not my cup of tea, but I must admitt this game is pretty good! The Audio is excellent, the light effect are a good idea and...well...it works!
I got the game freezing 3-4 second at the beginning and after the first level (just for you to know)

Best game I've played - absolutely fantastic! Good fun, awesome music, epic graphics and kittens! Loved the motion blur especially.

nice graphics and audio. the combat didn't feel that fun though unfortunately. the green spacesuit guys kept murdering me. :( also, yay kitty!

Nice game, well made, graphics and sound are good. However, I found it frustrating, since the enemies most as fast as you do, once they're nearby, they can just drain you and since they can jump out at you in the dark, they can often get near you before you can do anything.

For some reason, it crashes on start. (Using Windows Vista... No crash info, just stops responding.)

oh my god I killed the kitten.

While the core gameplay could maybe use some tweaking, I really applaud the amount of polish here given that this is an LD entry. The lighting effects, and the screen transitions in particular. Oh man, the first time I noticed the smooth screen transition I definitely smiled.

Other minor nitpicks:
-Bottom-right UI icons weren't quite too self-explanatory, though I could guess.
-Moving slower while shooting seemed like an interesting mechanic but I quickly realized you could essentially negate it by just tapping fire after each cooldown.
