To Be Or Not To Be...Alone by A Drum Duel

[raw]
made by A Drum Duel for LD22 (COMPO)
This is my second compo. It is loosely based on my previous entry but I have incorporated feedback from the last time around. I have added randomization via JavaScript and some sound effects too (might not work if you're using IE).

It's a simple game similar to the "Lady and the Tiger" scenario but it is a step up from last time around.

Enjoy!

I got a headache from the sound when I opened the right door :')

I guess this is a joke entry? I don't find stuff like this very amusing. There are a LOT of Ludum Dare entries and stuff like this takes attention away from people who actually put a little time and effort into things. Each of us has limited time to review as many games as possible and spending 5 minutes looking at this means 5 minutes less to look at rate other entries. :/

I had to play it three times to confirm that the doors do actually re-set after each attempt.

I'd score it better if there was a bit more to it. All I get for 'winning' is the exact same thing I get by just 'not playing and just imagining that I already won' instead.

As John Conrad says... entries like these just make me rethink my decision to once again try and rate as much games in the compo as possible :/

I thought it was a white road between two gray walls. Turned out to be two doors with horrible sounds awaiting me. :(

I picked the right door apparently, but somehow still felt like it was a loss.
