made by Oxydam for LD22 (JAM)
For our first participation (and our first game) we chose to make a platform game for the jam.
Unfortunately, we didn't had time to add the scenario. It really stuck to the theme... Many other elements remain unfinished as the graphics or sound effects.
Anyway, we are proud to have managed the challenge of Ludum Dare : that was a great pleasure working along this 3 days !
We are three in the team :
Eldaryze (programmer)
Enimal (game designer and level designer)
Oxydam (game designer)

I liked the feeling of this game. The gentle blowing wind made it more relaxing to play, like the solitude of going on a hike.

Certain jumps had to be just perfect, which got a bit frustrating, but I liked the super meatboy-esque wall jumping.

This reminded me of super meat boy, because as said above, it was frustrating at times, but also fun!

"Certain jumps had to be just perfect, which got a bit frustrating" that and that place where you had to chance the right way

Vous auriez quand même pu faire un effort pour le titre ^^
A part ça, bon, c'est un platformer...mais un platformer qui fonctionne et qui se révèle aussi amusant que frustrant. En 72h, c'est presque un miracle! :)

This was a really fun game. It wasn't the same kind of frustrating that other entries are, it was a fun type of frustration. The other comments explain it perfectly, it was like Super Meat Boy in that way.

Thanks for your comments, we are happy to see you enjoy our game. We don't integrate the story but you find it fun so it is the most important.

My first thought was that his knees are bent like his running even when he stands still.

Then the auto-scroll kicked in and I thought "damn I shouldn't be standing still"

Very nice. I liked that the wind sound was stereo :)

a nice little atmosphere. it was a cool platformer, i think that the persistent side-scrolling thing has a lot of room to be explored with. i did get stuck in a wall at one point but it was fun overall!
