Never imagined a combo of the two. I would have liked an easier start and a digging animation or progress bar or similar. The theme is conveyed well, but I had difficulty using the controls at first due to the 'digging time'. I thought it would be more like an insta-dig. Apart from that, it looks pretty good and it plays pretty good. Powerups or the like would be a good addition to counter the 'luck' part, like an actual minesweeper gadget, radar or even armour. Make sure you cannot lose in the first move, and make it clear multiple blocks at a time (as in the original).
