Void by royletron
Team Helmet present their first entry to a Ludum Dare.... Void
Play the part of one of three characters and find yourself in the most amazing of space adventures. Be amazed by full colour graphics, and high quality mono sound, and most importantly find your friends...
Credits:
Darren Royle (AKA Cap'n Royles) - Programming, cook, provider of Tiffin/Taffin
Ross Devereux (AKA Ross Vandereux) - Programming, token PC boy.
Ian Norris (AKA Ian Visnoth 2nd) - Art, and tidyness monitor
Ralph Johnson (AKA Baron Von Johnson) - Art, tea and coffee making facilities.
Thanks:
Adam Saltsman AKA Adam Atomic - for his excellent Flixel.
Photon Storm - for their fantastic Flod Player (though not sure my mod skills really do it justice).
Duncan Jones, Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey - ...for just being there.
We had so much fun making this, though it was hard work, and hope you all enjoy it.
Team Helmet!

The only minus is that there were robots in the space... I think you should have put something else that's dangerous that isn't "someone" if you know what I mean :P
And by the way, before I actually completed the game, I actually thought about the ending the exact same way that's in the game. So I found that funny! :D
the portal/2001 influences were a little too obvious.
