Something telling the player that junk food = more time and healthy food = -time would make your game much less frustrating for first time players. I made it through easy, medium and hard once I figured that out, but I was pretty baffled until then.

The text quoting Kafka at the bottom doesn't seem to cover very much of Metamorphosis, and it seemed kind of strange in game. I do find it hilarious in your screenshot though :D.

I wanted to make a deep game with so much going on on the player's mind, but I couldn't :x. Maybe next time.

The way we crafted the narrative should be use in a game that have hours of gameplay, not minutes, that is a real flaw

Interesting choice of deep quotes, considering the player is a bug eating junk food. The goal wasn't overly clear, and took some experimentation to figure it out. The visuals were well done.

You hit the theme decently well, simply beacuse you play a bug alone in a human's world, but the gameplay doesn't really help that feeling.

The game was decent. But as others have mentioned already (and you have responded to) the goals are unclear. The reference to Kafka makes it a bit more clear, but it's still very vauge. Graphics are good, good controls, but the audio is a bit sub-par. Good job overall!

I had hoped a CS student could come up with something better than this. Not fun at all, the gameplay is just frustrating, the quotes arent humorous, being a bug eating junk food doesnt please me the least and the losing horn sound is just bad. The graphics are not bad, and the whole thing fits the theme, but there isnt much to the game besides the quotes.
