Weeblos by deathmtn

Weeblos is a small world with four regions. In each, live some weeblos. Each weeblo wants something in order to be fulfilled. The problem is, not every region is going to produce what the weeblos in it want. That's where you come in.

You have ten actions to make as many weeblos as possible feel fulfilled. You can either travel to another region by clicking on the "mini map," or you can make the weeblos in the region work.

Making Weeblos Work: When you do this, each square in the region that has a weeblo to work it will produce one or more resources. The types of resources depend on the type of square. (There's a legend that should have been in the game that didn't make it. It's attached here as a "screenshot" and explains what produces what.)

Traveling: This takes you to another region, along with any weeblos you've dragged onto your ship.

Moving weeblos to other squares or the ship is free, as is dragging resources to the weeblos.

The regions are different every time you play, so you can reload if you want to try different weeblo/square scenarios.

I liked this game. I didn't like that I had no idea what resource tiles were in each region until I moved and moving ate a turn. Maybe putting the four squares in the mini map would help. You still wouldn't know how many weeblos where there or what they wanted, but at least you wouldn't move a ship full of thirsty ones to a full region of grass.

Nice puzzle game though!

Thanks, Lacutis! I was originally going to do that but was concerned it would take too much time. In retrospect, it wouldn't have been that much harder.

As for giving the player full information about the weeblos in a region, I struggled with that. I ended up going with making the discovering the weeblos something that costs an action, too.

I might try it the other way with full information. If I do make an update, I can let you know - just send an email to jim.kang over on gmail, and I'll let you know!

I'm not at all sure I understand what's happening in this game.
