Could use some randomization as to locations of bots, and a little more documentation or instruction. I don't know if it's my system, but moving around is prohibitively slow. (a full minute to get to the first guy to the north)

I found it hard to figure out what to do, it could really use some type of instructions.

I agree with xBlinkedx: It isn't immediately obvious as to what this game is supposed to be about.

I would try this, but I don't have Windows.

Can you compile a binary for Mac?

Very cool graphics, but I agree, the game needed a bit more instruction. I didn't realize I was fighting the other robot at first. Also, nothing was effective except "ostrich leg" I lol'd. :P Nice graphics though!

I really like the framework you have here! Sort of a neat little Pokemon thing. Will you work on it beyond the competition? I'd be interested to see more :)

One bug I did note is that since my screen is tinier than the recommended size, a lot of the flavor text in combat overlapped. A little adjustment based on screen size would be nice, then the stuff would be more legible.

Runs well in Wine.
I didn't realise I was fighting at first.
You can also easily get more oil by interacting with defeated robots.

This was fun; I didn't realize at first that I was fighting, and it was hard to figure out what weapons were better or what did what. Ostrich leg seemed to work well. I couldn't really figure out if there was more to it than just exploring and fighting. I discovered the oil exploit mentioned above too. Looks like it could be the basis for a fun game, though, and it's cool to see one in 3D.

runs ok in WINE, wasn't really sure what to do, the "combat" system didnt really make any sense...but once you defeated one all you really had to do was interact again and click anything to win again and get more oil.
