It looks great and sounds great, but game-play suffers. You cannot guide the ball depending where it hits on the paddle, which kinda is the point of ball and paddle games, otherwise you just hope the direction suits your needs. The ball randomly bounces down after hitting a wall. Nice try but focus on the core mechanics is needed :)"},{"author_name":"spiffl","author_uid":"45731","time":"Apr 23, 2016 @ 11:36pm","epoch":1461454260,"text":"As keyboardmonkey says, the lack of ball control stings, but the "make it go back up" power and on-the-fly ball-switching is a good idea! I'm not sure what the point is of the score decreasing... maybe it would be really interesting to make this a "survival" game, where it's not really about not dying but about not letting the score hit zero? Just a thought! Though it wasn't too exciting, I enjoyed the aesthetics, and it was well-programmed as far as I could tell! Good job :)"},{"author_name":"RNanoware","author_uid":"25029","time":"Apr 24, 2016 @ 12:05am","epoch":1461456000,"text":"The mechanics were all quite interesting, but the gameplay wasn't engaging enough to hold me through the whole thing. However, I did realize early on that you can in fact change the angle of the ball's flight by hitting it on the very edge of the paddle--that small fact made all the difference!"},{"author_name":"Cerberus","author_uid":"49049","time":"Apr 24, 2016 @ 5:41am","epoch":1461476160,"text":"game was good but did not find anything really different from other similar games. nice work."},{"author_name":"ObsessiveNotion","author_uid":"92905","time":"Apr 25, 2016 @ 9:33am","epoch":1461576480,"text":"Fun but was slow."},{"author_name":"Geckoo1337","author_uid":"35835","time":"May 1, 2016 @ 1:11pm","epoch":1462107960,"text":"Simple concept, but well done.
