For a first effort, this is not bad at all. You have scoring, a title screen, an instructions screen, a game over screen, a well defined theme and gameplay. Now all you need to do is refine all this, and you'll have a great game.

I think that the "pirates in a bottle" really fits the theme well. The enemy pirate ships appearing out of nowhere was a bit weird -- how about if the bottle was pointing up, and the pirate ships fell from the top?

Also, you left some text in Portuguese in your game over screen.

Don't forget to rate other people's entries too!

It's nice, but too easy. I eventually found myself just repeatedly pressing Z and X together.

Good try though, and the graphics were good.
