Particle Drop by lordmatthoffman
First Ludum Dare entry. Used it as a challenge to finish a game from start to end with menus, death/respawn,multiple levels, etc.
This takes place from the perspective of a water droplet, who's world is quite different from ours and he faces very different challenges than we do.
All in-game assets were created in the last 48 hours. Tools used: Photoshop, Flash Develop/Flixel, and sfxr.

Not bad for a first time entry! The clouds in front were a little distracting to begin with, but you quickly tune them out. Gameplay isn't too difficult, but I like the way you slow down as you take damage - it gives you a chance to recover.

Nicely done! The graphics were simple, but I really liked them! The concept is pretty simple as well, but it's evident that gave you lots of time to focus on polishing the look and feel of the game. The lack of music is also pretty noticeable, but that only means I don't have to turn down the volume on my music player :P Good job!

Short but fun! The clouds were lovely. But maybe I didn't feel the idea of the theme "Tiny World". Keep up the good work!
