Are you sure you have installed XNA reditribualbe 4.0? If you have are you sure you have the good version?

Because I just tried at work and everything works perfectly with XNA installed for the first time on my computer today.

Hi,
I went throw the whole game, nice one ! Playable entierly, difficulty pretty well balanced (mostly easy though), graphics are clean and sounds are ok. Only drawback : texts are long to appear, a key to show them immediatly would be great.
Overall : good game =) Enjoyed it !

Really good game ! I loved the concept and had fun with it. Like Lythom said, text was a bit long and let you out of the game. Also sometimes it was difficult to pick the right color but anyway, there's something good here that I'd like to see on a bigger scale !

Excellent! I like very much this puzzle game! :D
I like intermission speeches, too!

The name system is a bit bugged, when I entered a long name the text wrote on top of it.
I love logic games though so I'm going to be a bit biased with how fun it is.
The last level and the whole "Are you ready for this?" before it made me laugh quite a bit.
Well done.

A nice implementation of the classic "connect the points with nonintersecting lines" puzzle. It's hurt a bit by some control issues, namely the lack of a dedicated deselect key, so I kept accidentally selecting a different color and overwriting stuff when I meant to deselect. I felt like the locks could be used in a way beyond level pacing for actual puzzles. For example, since you only need to connect two things of the color to activate it, you could connect two blue blocks on the accessible side of the blue lock to get past, then later have to connect them a different way that's now available from open locks in order to make a different connection past them. Or something. What I'm saying is that you really want some more complexity or difficulty to set the game apart, because right now it has a pretty weak and inconsistent difficulty curve, and stays rather easy the whole way.

Yeah indeed I know this is really easy, my level design level is to blame.

But the way you select/unselect and break link is something I decided to do like this:
- With break, you clean the tile
- With select/unselect, it's a bit more complicated:
. If there is only one colorblock around you, you will alternate between white and the color.
. If there is more than one color around you, the cicle is first color then next color ... until all the colors around you are done then white and you restart with the first color.

Now you say it, define Select and Unselect on 2 different buttons might have been a better choice.

Thanks for the feedbacks

***I'm posting this on all non-browser games I bring up in an attempt to encourage folks to make browser games next time around. Do not take it personally.***

When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.

Please consider making a browser game next time.

Had a great "Chips Challenge" feel to it. Liked the console in-between stages but couldn't see the link between entering text in a console and being a character? Didn't get far but it was easy to see where this was going.

Neat game! I stopped playing because i'm too impatient to sit through that awfully slow narrative stuff, but i had fun nonetheless

Really nice puzzle game! The first level of the last world has me stumped for some time but managed to beat the whole thing. Addicting and fun little game.

Ok I let a little cheat in the game to pass the console states (just press Tab) but chuuuuuuut it's a secret!

Enjoyed playing this. If you could think up more devilish mechanics to introduce as the game goes on (like, I dunno, colour mixing) that would be cool.

A fun, if easy puzzler. Background music would have been good, but thats far from a deal-breaker. The console messages were amusing, but didn't really fit with the puzzles. Again, not a deal-breaker. Overall a decent game, saving was a nice touch, allowing a player to repeat levels they had already completed. Well done!

Very nice game!
The control method is somewhat awkward, mouse would've been easier. Other than that, good level design and story on top.

This is a good game and seems very nicely put together. A little background music would be nice (but I can hardly talk - I didn't have time to include BGM in my own game!)
Good work :)

Very nice game, suffers from a frustrating control issue - really needs a deselect key!

Nice, well presented story. Enjoyed the game.

Amazing job! I love these kinds of connect the endpoint games and even though the level design sometimes revealed the solutions to the puzzles (add more empty space for the player to try and take advantage of) it was still really fun! Great job on this!

Really fun! I liked the story segments taht were interspersed, and the basic mechanic is solid. You could do a lot with puzzles involving doors and links, where you have to draw links across doors. But I like the puzzles that are in there, already.

I'm really sorry for all the mac users but it's an XNA game, that is a windows technology.
So you can only play it on windows (but you can on a virtual machine or a windows emulator)

I had fun with this game and played it to the end. I just wish it were a bit harder, clean up the controls and quicker text.

Enjoyed this one - nice job on it. Level 7 was really hard, almost gave up on it. But then prevailed. Controls were a little cumbersome sometimes (grabbing the wrong color, etc.) but not sure how else they would have been done. Good puzzler.

Nice idea for a puzzle game! As others have said, faster text speed, more intuitive controls and making more use of the locks would be nice. Enjoyed playing through though :) I found level 7 to be the most interesting / challenging.

Great game! I'm pretty average at these types of routing puzzle games and the difficulty was just about perfect. There are plenty of levels. Two of the later levels are a little easier, which makes the difficulty curve a little uneven but certainly no big deal for a 48hr compo game! The controls were solid and easy to understand. I loved the touch with the story and text scenes. Allowing the player to enter a name was small but very cool touch too. Great work.

I didnt get the theme here. But overall loved that the levels spelled something, i found the audio annoying due to lack of background music, and i loved the humor in the game....

Beat it! This is not a new puzzle idea but your puzzles were pretty good; I was particularly stumped on the first one in the last world. Sometimes it was awkward to pick up the right wire when I was in a place where 'q' was ambiguous, but eventually I figured it out.

Great puzzle game. Not entirely sure how it fits into the theme, and the controls were a bit fiddly at times (sometimes deleted links accidentally or selected the wrong colour) but it kept me playing until the end

I would play this if there were a web version. You should consider doing a web version for future games.
