Hmm, not sure it was working properly... when I got outside I was moving very slowly, and backwards? Is that meant to happen?

Then on restarting the background didn't display, it was all just black.

What I saw of it looked interesting though! Liked the idea :)

I quickly got stuck inside a wall...? Then everything went dark and the guy started to explain the shrinking world again (?).

There seems to be a problem with the frame independence timer that makes it unplayable on some machines. I hope it is OK if I fix it.

Insane seizure inducing screen flickering for me (On Mac / Firefox). Sorry, I couldn't play it for more than 10 seconds.

nice and simple. Maybe some more landmarks or differences in the the terrain so you can remember where certain buildings are at when you're walking around.

Kinda easy, not much to it, but fun. :)

So buggy it becomes virtually unplayable. Seems like an interesting idea though.

Graphics and sound are great! Would love to see this expanded upon, and have more puzzles!

Nice one :D It's simple but the story and the mood work really good =)

I liked the idea behind this game, but I had no idea what to do. Also, on OSX via Chrome, the application was super buggy/glitchy. Great use of the theme.

Can't start the game on windows 7 - the error message involved "Could not load Main-Class manifest attribute..."

Very good idea, I couldn't figure out how to 'win' though. I got the C4 to the robot, and nothing would happen. Good entry.

Oddly unsettling for me. I couldn't really move outside for some reason but others seem to be having that issue. I got to the library and then died o_O

Kinda cool - finally managed to beat it after 10 tries or so. I like the visual effeects.

Short yet nicely creepy - the whole "the world is coming to an end!" urgency is well-conveyed. The shadow effect on the player looks sloppy, though, and finding the "hotspot" for interacting with things is more trouble than it should be. Points for atmosphere, but the implementation needs a bit of work. On the upside, I think the premise could easily work with a more involved puzzle.

Congrats on finishing. Unfortunately, the music was super-loud and the controls made it rather unplayable.

I can't move fast enough to get to the next house. It's not really playable. Good job on finishing though. Other than not being playable it looks nice. but don't worry, there is always a next : )

Why can I hardly move? when I finally got to the next house I got hit with the space time warp thingy.

Very captivating. And really hard for me, but I liked it a lot.

Very nice and innovative idea - shrinking the world. Sadly you should spend more time to get a proper gameplay... better puzzles or something like that. But as it is, it's a funny game :)

(do not place the interaction (E) and the restart (R) button together, please ^^)

Sorry, but couldn't enjoy it because of the bugs.
May be it's better to make less levels, but spend time on good control.

Can't fairly vote since it does not work properly. I can walk three steps before everything turns black outside.

The web version worked, for me at least. The interaction was a bit spotty sometimes...if you get too close to an object, the 'E' option often disappeared.

That aside, this is a very interesting concept. The tension is good, and it's pretty atmospheric (the screen darkening is a good effect). I was able to solve it after a few retries and didn't notice any timing issues, although it sounds as though I might have been one of the exceptions.

Could you maybe post a post-compo version, if you figure out the issues others are having? We wouldn't be able to / shouldn't rate that version, but the game's still an interesting experience to share.

Web version didnt work for me. Got the splash screen, pressed space, white-screen that wouldnt do anything. Windows version sent me to the same page. So downloaded the jar, which wouldnt run, so created a basic html page for it to run in (as I figure it is an applet afterall) same issue as above web version. Unable to rate! :(

@RadthorDax: That probably means it is erroring out on something specific to your machine. Check the java console, it should say what is wrong. Sorry about that, I shouldn't have gone overboard with the shaders...

I dug through your code a little big looking for the flickering issue, since I'm an LWJGL guy myself.

I actually didn't see anything obvious, but I don't think the LWJGL renderer timer is that bad if you're willing to have a *slightly* variable timestep for your engine. Nice framework though. Looked pretty similar to mine in places :)

I couldn't get the web version to work properly, the screen was flickering non-stop and I kept being pushed by a giant glitch. It was kinda surreal, haha.

This game didn't seem to want to go anywhere past the loading screen on my computer.

Wow, I am not doing LWJGL applets again! Now I myself cannot run it, randomly! It worked fine when it wasn't an applet. Well, thanks for trying guys!
