Nice job on the game, it's definitely a pretty unique concept for this Jam. I thought it was fun, and I liked the music too. My only suggestion is that wave 1 be made easier, because once I figured it out, it was fine, but that still took a little while."},{"author_name":"dos","author_uid":"52499","time":"Aug 30, 2016 @ 9:52pm","epoch":1472593620,"text":"Oh crap, it is hard! So when on the next step you are introduced with both enemies and fireworks, I thought firework = weapon.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I have been dying 5 times not being able to do anything because the fireworks are totally useless against the first waves. It couldn't take it any more so I went to read comments hoping to find some clue about how to beat this game. Until I realise I was not supposed to use fireworks but logs on the enemies.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Once this painful part is passed, the game really becomes a good challenge where it's all about skills. It's really rewarding to manage to kill the very first enemy after to many tries. And it feels even better to beat the first wave. Now I want to keep playing it to see if I can reach the end."},{"author_name":"fragileannihilator","author_uid":"49685","time":"Aug 31, 2016 @ 10:51am","epoch":1472640360,"text":"@Strike\r<br\/>Thanks for valuable feedback. Especially because the hand of the arm just stopped moving when I almost had the fireworks directed straight down the wall... I thought I was just failing to control. Maybe the level 1 should just be 1 enemy and allow only logs to demonstrate that it is also a weapon.\r<br\/>What really drove me crazy are the fireworks you can not aim to nearby enemies except in the 5 first seconds of the wave (when they are not too close of the wall). The candies idea gave me a good laugh ; it brilliant to work around the firework problem but unfortunately the "distraction time" is insufficient to reload.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Apart from the level design issues which are think are mostly easy fixes, great use of the theme ; very cool, well-implemented game mechanics, and pretty graphics. Log, however, is a universal weapon, it can kill enemies at any distance. There's also TNT, which is best for destroying crowds standing in front of the wall. \r<br\/>\r<br\/>2) In fact, there's no "distraction time" with candies, it's the amount of candies inside the box.
