Antibody by Woodpecker

[raw]
made by Woodpecker for LD23 (JAM)
So much more to do with this idea than what is here. My wife did the graphics and I did the coding, it was a great time.

Using only the mouse, you control an antibody and attack different viruses.
Left click selects your antibody. After selected, left click anywhere to move.
Right clicking deselects your current antibody.

Only a few levels here, we have more art for more types of antibodies and viruses.

It was a fun game, but I found the controls a bit awkward with the small window size, and I eventually got stuck when it said I had 1 enemy left, but couldnt find it anywhere.

I totally agree with the small window size. It really hampers the fun of moving the character. The bug is sadly a result of not testing enough, the virus can get stuck off-screen.

I get that it was in someone's body, but I didn't feel small. Game was OK. I would have liked some smoother movement.

I like it! I enjoyed how it was really possible to use the big antibody to shove the viruses to someplace (at first I though: this isn't going to work, the movement will be clumsy - but then somehow the balancing made it really easy to do!). I can see some of the gameplay aspect probably couldn't be made in time, but I understand the concept and think it could be developed into a really fun game which is part puzzle, part simply the joy of moving around (like in Flow). Plus, I find it lovely that you and your wife did this game together and had a good time doing it - I hope I can also have a wife that likes designing games someday! Congratulations for the entry :D

Hey, you should put some more work into it and make it the way you envisioned! :)
