Downsize the World! by shinD

[raw]
made by shinD for LD23 (COMPO)
Economy is getting worse and worse, not even the gods of ...whatever are able to go about their business without cutting costs. That includes the world. It's time to Downsize.

Made with Flashpunk, MS Paint and Guitar Pro.

Check the cheat sheet for some info and read the first screen. It's a rough prototype. Sorry. I had to roll a Demon Hunter.

What does "rolling a Demon Hunter" mean?

It means I played Diablo 3 for 7+ hours.

This actually could be much better, even as a prototype, with demand bars much shorter and the possibility to win without a billion clicks. Music got quickly repetitive. The idea was actually interesting and innovative - a pity you didn't finish it.

Heh, lots of text on first page, kinda intimidated me! I wasn't sure what was going on, but i liked the music :) Maybe have the game start out with a smaller board and some "hand holding" tips to get the player going.

Kinda interesting, although at the moment it's basically "click a billion times to win"

I had no idea what was going on.

I have to echo the "billion of clicks" and the repetitive music comments. I thought that the idea is interesting, but it needs some work.

The intro was hilarious. "So it's a god game. Basically..." Wasn't able to figure out what I was supposed to do, and unfortunately a wall of text is similar to no text at all in terms of helpfulness. Nice music though!

Hmm, I couldn't really figure this out. Sorry.

I think with some chunkier graphics and a much smaller board this could be really impressive. Maybe start with one really small world and build up to make it more challenging. Definitely room for improvement, but there's a huge amount of potential here.
