You should probably change Web link to http://files.abbeygames.com/Tinytanic/Web/WebPlayer/WebPlayer.html
Overall nice idea. It wasn't clear for me why I die but it was quite fun to panic :)

What! How can this not be more popular? Top marks on everything. You are a gamer's game developer. This goes to my featured at once.

http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/05/11/tinytanic-please-give-this-game-some-love/ <- featured here, for what it's worth! I was immediately in love with the humour and visual gags.

Nicely done. I like the character customisation. The menus werent very obvious (but that's Unity's fault).

Why is the screen soo big? I can't see the whole thing in my web browser.

I like all of the different sprites and the tilting of the ship. The kick didn't seem powerful enough (though that could have been by design) and there isn't enough motivation to risk standing by the side to throw people off. You should just stand in the center where you are less likely to be hurt, and wait it out (which isn't fun).

This is pretty awesome. It would have been even better if you made it more obvious what the range and recharge times on the abilities were. This is a fantastic start and only needs a few tweaks to be a really great game.

It looked very smooth and polished with great presentation, yet somehow I couldn't figure out what to do. What does "socializing" do? It gives me friends, but it only works sometimes--why? What do "friends" actually do? Once we're panicking, what am I supposed to do, throw people off the ship? If I kick someone, does it actually do anything? If I get kicked, does that mean I'm about to die? The only way I found to die was to fall from one level to another, which does make sense, but it was a nasty surprise because nothing warned me about it. When do my abilities recharge? Also, I couldn't find the "helicopter" and couldn't figure out how I was supposed to win.

Brilliant.

Having a fire pop up a couple of pixels in front of me while I'm charging is a bit frustrating, and lack of cooldown time indicators is a bother, too. Also not very clear why I was naked, but it added something to the experience.

Regarding the game as a game, I want to argue that agency feels lacking--I don't feel like my knowledge/skill improvements make much of a difference, and I don't find much in the way of strategy. Regarding the game as art, I don't think this agency issue is a problem at all; given the theme, tone, and pacing, it makes perfect sense.

Kudos on the mode-switching & the ghost captain.

Dialogs are funny, they make the wait between disasters fun.
When the captain said "LOL jk..." I laughed loud.

The random avatar making is a nice feature :)

Cool game, congrats ;)!

Most impressive. Love the artstyle and audio.

The buttons are horrible, though. I didn't see them for 1 min, while I hammered the keyboard trying to get my chracter to move.

Even the title is funny :)
I can't believe there are not more comments !
This is very fun to play and original. Maybe a bit confusing ?
I'd love to play it as a multiplayer game, anyway this is already very very good.
The intro screen is very nice, the characters are beautiful pixel art. Maybe the actions are not very clear at first but this is easy to understand afterwards.

Keep up the good work !

Very funny, good looking, cool idea, but presentation is a bit confusing. It's not clear what's going on at start where there is a lot of characters on the screen. But I finished it.

What an awesome game idea... funny and well-done mood. The switch between game modes. It could have been one of the best 48-hour game I had ever seen if the gameplay wasn't so confusing =/ Is there any way to know how much HP I still have?

Also, the starting menu was a little confusing at first because I didn't see the buttons... Then, I found them, clicked on "start game" and tried to figure out what to do because I didn't see that more buttons popped up on the other side of the screen.

A very interesting and new idea, with a high laugh factor.
"That devil lady at the circus was right! Aaaaah!"
I had an absolute blast in my lipstick n high heels chucking people overboard while everyone panicked and the captian made announcements (JK lol)!
Best. Game. Ever!!!!
I don't think anyone else is going to read my favourites post but I'll put it there all the same.

I can't praise the art, audio and humour enough. I won after many tries, mostly by standing with my back to a crate and throwing people who came close. It feels like you can keep using the lifts to avoid being hit too.

It is quite confusing to play, and while that's kind of the point, perhaps it could do with some more visual indications when people are attacking, and when I can use my abilities. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Hilarious! The people graphics are so cute, and are they parametric? I was really impressed with the variety. The controls for fighting were hard for me to get the hang of, which is too bad, because I just love the idea of a beat-em-up on the titanic like this. Is the boat's flag the Windows logo? :)

Thanks everyone for the positive comments!

This was our first time participating, and we enjoyed it very much! Next time we'll judge some other games, something we totally forgot in our newbieness.

Amazing and hilarious. Took me a while to come up with a survival strategy. Would have liked a bit more control during the melee.
