Tried making background music, but I failed.

Not really that good, but I learned a lot by making this game.
..And I finished a game in my first Ludum Dare! :D

Some castles are nearly impossible to crush without damaging the forests nearby.

Great job! Would have been much better with music, but lots of fun nonetheless!

The control is a bit laggy, but besides that - very nice :)

I got victory and game over at the same time ;p It's a fun game though maybe more things like different castles would have been cool

Pretty fun game, although the castles that are impossible to hit due to the forests were a little annoying at first.

Aww, that's nifty! I noticed after the first couple of attempts that part of the skill comes in figuring out which castles you can safely stomp on, which was clever. Might've been unintentional, though.

Also, don't know if this was just me, but I think I had a bit of a bug where, when retrying, some of the castles I destroyed in the last attempt were still destroyed.

Short and to the point. :) Maybe add some penalty for not stomping at all to make the game more strategic?

Fun! I hope you can implement a little more variety and a point system. Then you might have a fun addictive little thing on your hands. Good job!

I stomped over everything, but nothing happens at all :( Can't destroy castles or forests.
Apart from the bug its a pretty funny idea thought :)

Some castles were impossibly close to forests which made me lose a bunch, and then when I started skipping some I still passed a level. A bit confusing, but congrats on making your first Ludum Dare game! :)

This is fun, I love this concept. You should expand it, tighten the controls and add some variety, but there's a great potential for the idea. Could be very satisfying to stomp all kinds of things.

Also, I really liked the fact that you confirm by pressing the stomp button and it goes straight into stomping the first castle. Fun stuff.

I'd like to see it if you expand it, let me know.

Loved this game. It was very fun to smash stuff and the one button mechanic was very good design. The crushing sound is really satisfying as well!

Great game! I enjoyed it a lot :)

Finished it! Pretty rough, but if you polish it it could be a real gem.

I had a lot of fun playing this, actually. It's one of those games where you can mindlessly play it and it's still really enjoyable. I like the graphics, and the idea of stomping strategically (don't stomp the ones near the forest!) is a nice touch. I dislike the sound effects to be honest, I can tell you used bfxr (it sounds like the sfx I tried to make for my own game hehehe). I don't know where, but maybe consider a different means of production?

I like the graphics and played it a few times. Some of those gaps look impossible, but just the right amount of frustration for me :)

Pretty cool! I wish there was more feedback for stomping the castles like screams or something.

Nice idea, could have used more things to crush besides castles, like tiny people. Some of the castles are near impossible to crush because they are so close to the trees though. Anyway it's pretty good, nice job.

Simple controls make a fun game. Simple gameplay doesn't always make an addictive game. It would need something more to be addictive - like tiny people that you could crush... Not that I'm a psychopath or something...

I love smashing stuff, great sound used for that! I wish there were people running around in panic, otherwise fun to play!

YESSS!
Stupid feudal lord no let me in for banquet. I drink green water, all of it. Now I stomp!

This was totally cool. I'm not totally sold on the white flag castles, but I had tons of fun with this.

Nice game. I think that sometimes it states that I stomped a forest but I did not... Could be a good mobile game with a few more gaming elements. Thanks!

Some castles can't be crushed without crushing forests. I also had a weird bug where when I started a new game some of the casles were pre-stomped.

The download links are broken, so here is a new one: http://tinyurl.com/mgww7m7

This download includes a bonus game called Giant Stomp, which is an interpretation of StompAThump.
