First Import by iximeow
Edit: Now with linux-ability! Hopefully. No guarantees about it working on mac at all as I didn't/can't test it, but.. maybe? To run the linux version just grab the linux archive and run the included launcher.sh to start the game.
Wow! I finished it! There are some quirks with how the missiles work, collision detection isn't incredibly accurate, and the mining planes are worthless, but hey.
So, I present the game... First Import! (A play on Last Exile, if anyone's seen that anime. I saw it a few days before this started)
It's airplane with hookshots colonizing dirtballs in :space:! Also, I voice-acted everything except the background music.
Please do read the included readme.txt for instructions on how to play the game, and be a bit patient; unsurprisingly, I didn't have time to put in the extra polish that would make it play more nicely.
Also, the source code to the game is included in the source sub-folder, the .bat there should build the game's FirstImport.jar, and the source for the base code used is in source/com/ixee/
Edit after like.. a week and a half: So it turns out it doesn't work on Linux or Mac. That sort of sucks, and I can test/fix it for Linux this weekend, but I don't have a Mac available to test on so.. I'll try setting up a virtual machine at some point. For the time being though I apologize for the problem, and don't really have much to give for you non-Windows folk.
Finals next week, so take it with a grain of salt, but I should be able to post a version with some fixes to major issues (like missiles not clearly being spawned, being spawned at the wrong spot, etc. And a better explanation of what exactly there is to do) in another week and a half.

Okay.
Maybe a tutorial and more feedback via graphics and sound would help. I like the overall look and the sounds.
So it could use some work, but it has potential.
