DropShift by TheDanielBerry

[raw]
made by TheDanielBerry for LD35 (COMPO)
Complete with physics and kinematics, the world of DropShift will transcend position as you progress through each course.

Only getting to work on it for a day, here is my submission.

The menu says it took 24 hours but really it was less than 12.

This is my fourth Ludum Dare.

Eclipse, Paint.NET, & vanilla Java

Not working. I run it on OSX. A window pops up showing a faint white rectangle.

Congrats on the entry! I could not really see a shapeshift theme in this, although, I have never seen a gameplay mechanic with visual representation like this, thats the most that I liked. Sorry for a poor review tho!

Nice work on the controls.
It could be better if you would stick on the platforms when they move though :)

I don't get how this fits the theme btw :D

Nice game with a really interesting concept. Could be a bit more fleshed out, and the collision detection did not always work. But for less than 12 hours, that's impressive.

this game could be interesting with some more work. i like how it shows you where you were with the lines drawn. this game was a bit difficult to get to the end. but with more work, this could be a really good game.

Is there supposed to only be one level? Nothing happened when I reached the flag; not sure if its a bug or not.
