Very nice game, I was very surprised when it changed from building to trash collecting, was not expecting that!
This is the first game other than mine that I saw using MelonJS. Yay! I wanted to give you all 5's just for that.
OK seriously now. Very cool game. Wish you had a little audio. I imagine that was a time issue. In MelonJS, I always have problems with audio in FireFox.
If this was on a phone, the road and house tiles will be difficult to place with a finger. A little small. Since you said "tap to play" I think mobile is what you were going for. I could be wrong though.
Your transition from mouse controls for house placement to arrow keys / direction pad is awesome! Such a good idea and this really made your game interesting and innovative. I gave you high innovation marks for that.
iOS devices semi supported which is nice too. Keep up the good work in JS!
The idea of jumping from one "Mini-Game" to another on the same game is really nice :-)
As for the game, it's a bit sandbox style, but there should be different prices based on the location of the houses (seaside vs. garbage facility ;-)). Otherwise the switch to the garbage collector was a nice touch :-)
