I had some serious framerate issues. The game was almost unplayable on my system.

Apparently I am terrible at looking after space cats.

Nice work. Art was cute and serviceable, although it would have been nice to have the asteroids have some detail on them. Music was repetitive but weirdly catchy. I had some issues with frame drop, but it was still playable. Minor collision issue: it would have been nice to have asteroids disappear when they're inside my planet, as then I have no way of dealing with them. Good concept!

bah that is what I get for spending all my time coding and none of my time testing other than on my two laptops :-(. Discovered some memory leaks that affect windows relating to sound which I will be fixing for post comp version (which will also have a title screen, the rest of the images for the blobs of space slime or what ever, and a proper ending hah). thanks for the feedback!

That was fun! I like how the cats are all asleep and seemingly oblivious of their impending doom.

Also, how has no one posted a link to raocow's 2010 playthrough of "Cat Planet" (a separate game) yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdtehRUfzWc&ob=av3e

The game starts out running just fine for the first few seconds, but then the frame rate just drops down to zero and simply stops working. I'm running Linux. I loled at the idea tho.

How do you start the game? I'm on Linux; I had to 'file' it to discover that its a zip. run.sh seems to be for mac. When I install lua and just run "lua main.lua" it complains "lua: main.lua:70: attempt to index global 'love' (a nil value)"

I had no idea what was going on. Was there any way to shoot those circles coming at you?

Took me some time to figure out what I was supposed to do and by the time I did the frame rate dropped and it froze. Could be interesting with a little explanation at the beginning and a frame rate fix.

Nice game. I don't even like cats, but I felt terrible for failing these cats.

You need to install love2d (https://love2d.org/) for it to work. It would be nice if the game was packaged with the game engine. Other than that, nice game. The mechanic is cool.

Fun game. Like others, it had unbearable framerate at times... not sure why. Then it would be okay just a few seconds later. (OSX)

The mechanics were good, the music and sound effects were great. Good job.

Loved this game, was very addictive, but the lack of instructions was very confusing at first, cause i had no idea what to do. Besides that great game =)

Fun game. The crosshair cursor is a bit misleading as the mouse does nothing. Some instructions would have helped too.

Fun (and funny) game! Took me a bit of time to figure out but once I got it, I was hooked. :)

Annoying audio and the graphics.. well, I think you should have sticked with the red and blue circles.. but the kitten challenge is the kitten challenge ! Nice idea but a word about the opposite thing before launching the game would have been great
