There seems to be a bug in player's movement. When i travel right to left near the tree i get teleported on the other side, while when moving in the opposite direction the tree block me.

Lol, I scored 13222 points. I loled a lot at this one. It's nice that you made it in Java.

I don't think the game works as it should in Linux, though - all I see is a player. And it took ~1 second before it said "Dead, you scored 100 points".

Going to leave the rating empty, since I can't see any other graphics than the player itself - I consider it a game breaking bug.

I don't see a link to the source. This game has potential. I thin having a bigger running area would be more run. I though the idea was really cute.

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare!!

Avoiding pigs is the name of the game and I guess I should have expected the game to be exactly that. The first time I launched the game I died almost instantly since there was no menu screen or prompt to start the game, always include something like this.

The second time I started running immediately and managed to last pretty much as long as I wanted, I ran in a circle and all the pigs chase the same way so even though more were introduced they all eventually combined into one super-pig chasing me.

The collision on the tree, as mentioned before, needs fixing. You also should probably add hit areas to the pigs/player since it seems like only a very small bit will actually register a collision and this makes pigs really easy to avoid.

I know the idea of making the pig movement different than just "home in on player" might seem unintuitive, but adding a bit more complexity to the paths will make the game a million times more difficult and by the same token make it more fun to play.

The last bit of advice I'd like to give is to add a current score indication to the game screen. Giving a player a knowable incentive to keep playing, like a score meter, will make them want to keep going. As it is they are just running for seemingly no reason and only when they lose do they find out that they receive a score, and even then it's not tied to any particular action. They just have to assume, like I did, that it's tied to duration of life.

I hope these comments help! Good luck to you :D

Congrats on finishing your first LD! Just a quick tip: try not to kill the player within the first second of the game. =)

Difficult :p I died within a few seconds most times.

Cake&Codes comment is a very good one and I can follow SusanTheCat's wish for a bigger running area. You should consider the smallest screen to be 800 px in width (because no one should expect a version for mobile phones) so use at least some hundreds of pixels (even when the theme is tiny world)

I would like to know how to run the game, I installed PigRun.rar, but I don't know how to run it.

I believe I have the same problem as Kvisle.

It was fun when I actually was able to play it. The fact that there is no time to get your bearings and it closes when you die makes it difficult to play for long.

Not bad! (Why am I running from pigs and why do they want to kill me? D: ) You should consider starting the initial pig and the player in different locations, since if you're not ready when you start, you lose the game instantly.

As for the graphics, you should consider familiarizing yourself with a tool such as Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/). Gimp is a free image manipulation program that has similar functionality to Photoshop. It's not that hard to learn to use, but it helps you to make much better graphics (even if you're not an artist). The simple ability to have the background of your sprites filled with transparency will improve your graphics almost instantly.

Hope to see you in the next Ludum Dare!
