My Little Planet by NateNaterson
"Day 13:
13 days ago, being hunted by a bizzare faction of
creatures I have never seen before, I crashed, and I have
been battling them and asteroids ever since. Trapped on
this godforsaken rock, I am low on supplies, but more have
been falling from the ruins of my ship as the the gravity
of the planet I am on is pulling them ever closer to me.
I may be hallucinating, but some days I think I can see the
lights of rescue ships coming from Sector Alpha-3,
looking for me. I have no way of signaling them, and can
only hope they find me before it is too late..."

The powerups were pretty well balanced and the fact that you didn't need to catch them was nice.
The number of asteroids and enemies made it feel slightly overwhelming at times, but then those shockwaves kept dropping in.
It's a bit too long for my tastes though. I felt like I had seen most of what the game had to offer after 25% of those dots at the top of the screen were filled.
After 10 minutes, though, I don't want to replay it. I know I'd have to play for another 20 minutes to get to the end, and I'd probably lose the first time I see the boss (if there is one). Knowing in advance that I'd probably have to invest at least another 40 minutes or so to see the ending makes me not want to do it.
That said, I missed some more variety on the action, and the music became a little bit grating after 15 minutes straight listening to it.
Having a very similar concept on my own entry, it's nice to see how it could've turned out should I'd went with the keyboard-based control, as I did originally, instead of using the mouse. The other difference being that your game is actually playable and fun, and it looks like that really makes a difference! Go figure!! XD
Congratulations!!
