I've tried to play for a while, but directions given once in some strange units, with a hard to remember planet name...
Stopping at a planet only seems to work when I'm going slow enough to read and click without stopping anyway.
Good idea for a random game though! Throw in a highly customizable ship, random events, and randomly generated alien races with different quirks and you've got a winner!
But in case you will continue working on it, make planets have different distance measures, so we can't remember what klarks are equal to and will have to calculate the angle.
While switching from keyboard to mouse interaction was a little rough, the actual feeling of the ship control was fine for me. It seems like a lot of people are impatient with any movement system that involves inertia or damping.
