|STORY|
----------
You are the last living thing on an undisclosed planet. It is your goal to fix the damage that the asteroids do to your planet. You must stand over the cracks the asteroids make and work until they are fixed. If you get more than 3 cracks on your planet, the planet explodes.

Left/Right Arrow - Move counter-clockwise and clockwise
Space Bar - Fix cracks (must stand over them)

- Don't go counter-clockwise around the planet or you will not be able to fix cracks
- You can't stop fixing a crack and go on to another crack
- If page doesn't fit on screen, it will sometimes move
- If you are holding space when you die, it automatically starts a new game
- Doesn't load properly on some browsers

The Post Compo version fixes all of the above bugs and adds a loading bar so that the game doesn't start until all of the assets are loaded. I also added the final score into the death screen.

Interesting game. Not going counter-clockwise is a bit annoying. ;) I think it might work better if the asteroids didn't come out so fast at the start. I found it took me a few times to get the hang of things.

I wasn't able to get the game to start, or maybe to capture the keyboard input. There was no loading screen, I just saw a field of cross-like shapes moving to the left.

Used: Firefox 12.0, Win 7.

jwolf, the game assets probably just didn't load, try refreshing the page or clearing your cache.

Game just showed me a screen with a scrolling starfield, couldn't play.

Just tested the game in Firefox, and it seems to be only loading the background, but it works fine in Chrome. Very weird.

Couldn't get it to work in Firefox either. Otherwise, I think that it would have been interesting to have the asteroids be a hazard for the player as well as the planet.

Okay, I fixed the problem with it not working in other browsers, it is updated on the post compo version.

Now just because I do website testing at work does not mean that I have every browser installed on my hom...oh wait, there it is.

It does indeed work in Chrome. If there are any sound assets, however, I'm not hearing them.

Few times where I thought I was in place for a repair but it start and lost the game :'(
I had some fun so it qualifies as a game! well done :D

Interesting concept, has some similarities to my own take on the theme. I thought it was weird that the asteroids did not hurt the player, and the speed and quantity of them quickly became overwhelming.

I think you should fix the bugs about not being able to fix cracks since its your core mechanic. That being said I think the game will be very difficult. If you were to expand the main mechanic to be a sort of tower defense game where you have to maintain the planet so it could defend itself, that could be very cool.

The crack bug was fixed in the post compo version, I will be adding more to the game after all voting is finished.

The counter clockwise thing is a pretty unfortunate bug. This is a good start though. Needs powerups and crazy music. :)
