Tiny Maze by LeReveur

[raw]
made by LeReveur for LD23 (JAM)
Yesterday, I barely give up.
And, this morning, I find how to finish something playable. It's absolutely not what I had in mind at the begenning, and I've missed the compo, and the result is still full of bugs (I won't say about the hugly graphics), but at least, it works.

Play with keyboard, arrows or WASD (up=down=SPACE=jump).

Edit : While it's directly a swf link, don't forget to click on the game to activate keyboard.
Edit 2 : A little bug update... -_-

Edit 3 : Added a post-mortem version, please note that the vote must be done only with the previous version. Littles bugs fixing, on gravity and graphics managing.

thought it was funny that the screen was so 'tiny', but the collision is abit off making it annoying to try and get higher up and therefore get through the maze

I zoomed in with the right-click menu. The graphics are actually much nicer when you're looking at it like that, especially the player spark.

I thought the tiny screen was fun too.

Nice idea using the maze as a platformer level. Cute graphics.

Simple and lovely! I found it a little difficult to jump moving to sides

Thank you all for your comments. I expected worse, so I'm really surprised.
But next time I'll do better.

Tiny screen is a fun idea. I love mazes and wish there was a bit more than one, with more tricky stuff. Too bad for the collisions. Fun nonetheless !

I like the fire when the ball is moving, the screen size is original, but the ball is too hard to control, it's frustrating

Some jumps were buggy(you'd stop and fall mid jump if you tried to move towards a wall).

It was really hard to jump on certain platforms, specially on the tiniest spaces, but it's a fun crazy maze.

LOVE how tiny it is :-)

It is indeed tiny :-) The collisions are a bit off and most of the time I go out of the screen border. It is not very innovative, either.

However, having said that, congrats on finishing!

Ah it looked like it would be awesome. I played just the original, so I don't know about the post-compo yet, but there was a major problem with the collision detection. I really liked the graphics and the size :)
