Objective
----------------------------------------------------
Collect as many points as you can by clicking cubes without destabilizing the materia and causing it to explode.
Progress
----------------------------------------------------
Each 100 points per level to move on. Earning extra points on earlier levels can make up for slower progress on more difficult levels.
Cube Types
----------------------------------------------------
White - Cheap and easy to collect.
Orange - Worth more than white.
Red - Most valuable, but also reduces stability.
Pink/Purple - Very unstable, but recharges energy.
Misc
----------------------------------------------------
Clicking cubes costs energy, which does recharge slowly.
Use The Arrow Keys or Right-Click+Drag (doesn't work on Web) to Rotate the Materia.

@Wyzfen - Thanks! Yes, you need to get more feedback both when you've earned enough points, and when there aren't any more points left to be earned on the level.
@CappaGames - Thanks! Yes, that is a design issue. As the levels increase, so does the likelihood of Volatile materia. At about level 10, it starts getting more difficult to simply go for the core without running into 2-3 Volatile.
I can't get it to happen again, but for what it's worth it was around level 16ish, and I know I had clicked on a pink block. Also, was playing it through the web version on IE. Ew, IE.
I was moderately confused when I saw I had enough points to skip four levels, though. It should probably be a bit more obvious about when you have enough points.
@iximeow - I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sorry you encountered that issue. I'll take a look into it and see if I can reproduce the error. Yes, the messaging over the points/next level could really use some improvement.
@Matthias_zarzecki - Thanks!
@Shifty - Thanks! I agree, in a future update. Music and sound was just too much for what little time I had.
@Ouuo - Thanks for playing. I (regretfully) didn't test up that high. I can imagine it takes a long time to load! Sorry about that. That is a LOT of cubes!
