Sometimes rocks get caught up in each other and small rocks are seems to weight as much as the larger ones. Other than that, a great game!

Oh man, that was really good! A twist on classic Asteroids.
I loved the graphics and the weapons, felt really polished, though heat never seemed to be an important factor for me.

Good game, man!

If anything it could benefit from music, but over all it's got great sprite work, the sounds are awesome, and the gameplay is very fun. good job!

This one took me back right to contra III days on my loved snes. Man this is awesome stuff you have here. A music is all you need to put this in a top ten hit list. Congrats.

If only it had some nice fast-paced music! This would be the best entry ever. Very well polished, high level of detail in the graphics. Two-thousand thumbs up on that one.

If only it had some nice fast-paced music! This would be the best arcade entry, even better than Lilac! Very well polished, high level of detail in the graphics. Two-thousand thumbs up on that one.

This is really, really nice. Really well done. The graphics in particular are great, but the shooting feels lovely, the movement speed is just right and the sound works quite well.

That's really awesome, incredibly well made and polished. The game kills you unfairly sometimes though, wish you could jump or shoot sideways or something. Also, the overheating was mostly annoying. Otherwise the gameplay was good.
Very strong entry.

Reminds of an old game, Pea Shootin' Pete. I loved that game, and this does the concept really well. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Wow. This is one of the most complete entries I've seen, in terms of graphics consistency, overall quality and gameplay. I've just spent like a half hour playing this. :D

This was one of the better entries I've played. The graphics are very well done, the gameplay is well refined, and the visual/audio feedback is great.

The theme interpretation was one of the seemingly more generic ones, but it's executed very well.

The only things I can complain about this game is the lag between the actions and the sound effects--which could be an issue only in my system--and the lack of music (although you said you made some…)

Other than that, I can honestly say that I am jealous of your artistic ability and the polishing that you've put into this game.

Very well done indeed.

Great! Asteroids with radial gravity, that's a nice twist and approach to the theme! Each level starts a little too difficult and finishes easy, maybe part of the wave's asteroids could start appearing during the wave instead of in the beginning? Nothing else to add, this game really feels complete and well polished in its scope. Congratulations!

I wish I could vote 6 for overall and fun.

It's the exact kind of game I always wanted to make: simple but refined, and all gameplay mechanics fit very well together.

This is amazing! An extremely polished entry with beautiful graphics and very fun gameplay. I remember playing this during development, and it's really good to see features like powerups - they make it more awesome. One of the best entries! My only suggestion would be maybe allowing a jump, as sometimes there's almost nothing you can do when two asteroids are coming your way.

Amazing job! :)

Nailed it! Spent a good amount of time playing this one. Its a challange, and its fun. Reminds me, for obvious reasons, of Asteroids. Feels like a 'modern' version which would have come out in the 80-90's on the SNES or something :)
The only thing I would have added is the ability to shoot sideways at times, that would have been handy.

Absolutely amazing! Excellent execution, great art, and very solid gameplay :) Many games tried to do the "single little planet with ennemies flying around", but you manage to turn this into a very playable and intuitive game.

Great job!

Wow, this game was very well done. The art is gorgeous, the concept simple, and I love the arcade-y action of it all. Add on to that a strong level of polish and this is one of the best LD entries I've rated so far. Congrats!

Really addictive, one of the most addictive I've played. It's great to play it with a single hand with the arrow keys (I say that because I've seen a lot of games with bad controls, these ones are great)Let me restart the game with the down arrow key instead of R and that would be perfect, I could play while smoking my cigarette

11. May 2012 · 23:21 UTC
Very nice, very polished! I particularly like shooting powerups to change them. :D

There were a couple of problems, though. The first one is that the gun doesn't seem to push back asteroids at all. So you get into situations where you have the autocannon, you see the asteroid barreling down on you, you get under it and blast away...and you lose a life. Pretty frustrating. The second problem is, really, only three lives? It's impossible to play for more than a couple minutes with that setup.

Dude, this is still one of my favorite games. I just came back to say I'd probably make the overheat feature less harsh (perhaps doubling the bar's capacity?) and besides that I wouldn't change a thing.

This just kept getting better and better. At first I thought it needed a jump button, but now I'm convinced that it doesn't. Rad progression, rad art, and the music is NOT awful! Loved this. Lots of fun!
