Interesting; a dizzying array of options when buying bacteria. Actual gameplay wasn't so riveting for me, but I appreciate the underlying complexity - must have been hard to do so many pieces and art in the 48 hours.

It seems like this game leaves it to luck to win. One turn doing 5 damage, next turn doing 15? With no defense/blocking for each turn? Despite that the game is fun to play and watch.

I thought the graphics were pretty good, and the attacks such as flagellum-flick were hilarious.

This could use some balanace tweaks, as it appears the best advice is to just attack every turn. My AI opponent used defense almost every turn but I was still hitting for a ton of damage with.

Love the customization. Would have liked to see (hear) some audio.

Seems cool, but it feels like pokemon, and really, few 48 hour games can compare to pokemon :/

Nice! Must've taken a lot of effort to do for LD using Java.
Quite a lot of playability!

Interesting idea. Unfortunately the game felt quite random in the decision which parts to take and how the fights played out.
The graphics are okay.

The underlaying of the game is really amazing. It will be cool if you'll add some more gameplay to sp it will be even more fun to play.

Yeah the initial plan was to make more parts, upgrades, options etc, and throw in multiplayer. But due to the time constraints, I went with the amount I figured I'd be able to get done in the time allowed.

I do plan on remaking it now that LD is finished, eventually with all these things.

Good customization! In the end it felt like all you needed to do was attack every turn though.

Excellent concept. I love it when microorganisms get the respect they deserve in the gladiatorial arena.

Doesn't quite work as a playable game, though. Definitely needs more time.

It said it was loading stuff, but nothing happened after that - just a white screen. I am using Chrome.

Interesting idea, very simple. I tried the other two options, but ended up slapping the bacteria to death.
