A saving mechanic would be nice, though it's not required.
Graphics perfectly match the style.
Evolution of a business is a nice way to take the theme as well, and kind of original.
But the biggest problem is that after you get all the upgrades, you can kind of leave it running in the background and not do anything with it.
I feel like you've got something there with the event system, but you don't have a way for the player to react to events, apart from the foreman who simply reduces the number of events. In particular, allowing for different ways to react might add some interest to the game. As it is, I simply ignored the events and ploughed through.
If I can suggest something than that would be these two things:
- It's OK that the windows are remembering their place but you shoul have multiple windows.
- It isn't good to make the player let go of the mouse if everything else can be controlled by it. Maybe let the mousewheel handle the speed of time and/or have buttons near the indicator.
So you made me play this with the cubes and I'm not regreting it. ;) Keep up the good work!
Whatever, Good either way.
