Refuse Annihilator by netmute

You are piloting a remote controlled spacecraft. Your job would have been to shoot bad guys. But what if all the bad guys have already been shot and there's only debris left?

Well, shoot the debris. At least your spacecraft is evolving.

You have 6 spacecraft. After you managed to wreck them all (or drowned Earth in a pile of junk by not shooting enough of it) you get 6 completely new shiny spacecraft. Each time this happens they will be slightly better tailored to your piloting skills.

You get points for destroying stuff, your accuracy in doing so, and your survival time. Try to score as much points as possible. First one with more than a million gets a beer ;)

The game is completely written in JavaScript, using Craftyjs. The graphics were made in Pixen and Pixelmator. For sound I used Bfxr, Propellerhead Fusion and Garageband.

You'll want to run the game in Chrome, or else terrible things might happen.
Sound sucks across all browsers (but less in Chrome).

Known Bugs:
- Music hiccup in Chrome
- No sound at all in Firefox

Excellent concept. It was rewarding to see the ships adapting to my preference. Autofire would have been nice.

Clever idea and fun to play! All the little stats on the screen were a nice touch too. Well done :)
My score was 2.699.723 by the way. That beer will taste like VICTORY :D

That was really fun. My main problem is that my eyes can't see the debris very well against the starts.

I liked the evolving ship mechanic but just shooting debris was kind of boring. Would have been much cooler to fight aliens or something. The ship was so small and there was so much debris I couldn't get all of it, it was also hard to see the debris. I much prefer holding down spacebar to rapidly clicking it like one of Skinner's rats. I liked the sound. Given the time limit a good entry :)
