I can not run it "because the side-by-side configuration is invalide"...

I'm getting an error while trying to run it, what version of Visual C++ did you use? I'm guessing I need the redistributable package.

Can't load like Danvil described, too.

I'm no expert, but checking in the Windows event log, it looks like a Debug build meaning we would need Visual Studio installed instead of just the redistributable package (I already have VS2008 redistributable installed)

If you can check this and possibly provide a Release build I'm happy to re-test!

Not really sure why there are two tracks - just seems to confuse matters without adding anything, I kept expecting the routes to be different but I got stuck and had to stop before that happened (if it does). Also doesn't really use the theme much.
All that said, I enjoyed it for a while so nicely done.

ok ... thanks ... i used visual vc++ 2008 ... yes ... its a debug build ... its actually my first game ever finished(if it can be called a finished game) ... the release build didn't work ... i guess i should have worked with both build and release while making the game ... sorry and thanks for feedback

Great game and well done with the graphics (it has to take tame drawing so much elements, and twice haha)

Error running the binary, "bad configuration" ¿?

new build works fine for me, great stuff!

Nice simple stuff but I gave up after being beaten by the bits that are a jump with a block above them. It seems impossible to squeeze through them.

I found a slight cheat by the way. Sliding doesn't slow you down so you can just hold it permanently and never have to worry about timing a slide.

Oh what a nice take on "evolution". Really like the idea. The gameplay might be to fast for ppl to get it, and it's kinda hard. Got stuck on the second level but enjoyed it. More sound would have been nice.

thanks ... after the bits with bits above them there is a hole and after jumping above the hole you finish the game, so you didn't lose much

I'm missing a d3dx9_43.dll, apparently. I'll try hunting it down in a bit.

I kept hoping for the paths to start being different between the two characters. But it did have that annoying quality that made me want to keep playing to get past whatever part I was stuck at. So well done.

I liked your use of levels/checkpoints a lot. Looking back I wish I had some penalty/checkpoint system in place instead of making my players start the game over. Nice.

I like the game very much. It's kinda quick, but it's a jump & run, so I guess it's fine.

It runs now. If you make a post-compo-version, you should first gave the player a reason why he should look at the second screen. Perhaps you can make different obstacles in both screens so the player must look at both. I got stucked on the 3rd level :)

the 3rd level is the last level, so you didn't lose much ... if you got stuck at the tiles with another tile above them, i will post a video to show you how you should approach that part

Interesting rip-off of Bittriprunner ;) Music was fun although not very fitting, graphics were consistent, which is good, but the difficulty level was not very gradual.

Fun, but I wish it was a little more forgiving.

I'm glad I tried this later on. Now I can try it. Works well. Weird idea to have two sort of identical parallel games with one control. Graphics are nice. Did you play the piano yourself? Funny, it's still running while I'm typing this and still responding every time I press space. Bit hard for me but otherwise impressive for 48 hours!

Oh. One thing though: it can't be ended a normal way. I have to press ctrl alt del!

didn't think about that ... and no ... the music was generated with cgMusic ... thanks for the critiques
