Selection Sort by pelton
We wrote Selection Sort from scatch using C++ and the libtcod library. We didn't have time to impliment all the features we wanted, but at least there's something to play.
In this game you are an alien invader who has come to a planet to exterminate a constantly evolving species. The controls are WASD for movement and arrow keys for firing your weapon. The enemies have three traits, attack (red), health (green), and speed (blue). You must survive wave after wave of this species as it becomes more and more evolved based on survivors of previous waves.
The linux source code is provided below. There's also a precompiled binary in the bin folder which will work on 64bit systems. The binary must be run from within the bin folder to avoid errors. If you wish to compile yourself, you'll need cmake, SDL, and libtcod.
Enjoy!
