Love the fight mechanics, it's what I wanted to do for mine. The controls were a little wonky for keyboard though. Kept pressing ctrl +p which opens print.

Also, no source code?

Beautiful art and lovely concept! The hit boxes are very odd. I can't quite figure out how to win but I'm oh so close to getting the first boss.

The Souls inspiration really comes through, but the controls feel too rigid to really "git gud".

Pretty fun, needs polish though. I think you should add a feature to rebind keys.

Really great game! I like how the different buffs are all overpowered in their own way, and the unbuffed stats are underpowered. It makes you take advantage of what you have. Great work, and the game is beautiful!

Really hard without knowing the hitboxes, I kind of feel I was damaged unfairly =(

Well I don't know how to beat the 4th boss but I had fun playing so far! I didn't really know what each potion did lol Also I just ran to the bosses and spammed melee and won against the first 3 bosses.

Nice game! I really liked the music and the art. The graphics were well done and the animations were really smooth. The boss and alternate form attacks were imaginative and polished. I found the first boss had some pretty serious physics bugs. It bounced around a lot for me when it was near the centre of the screen. Overall a really polished-looking game for the short period of time to develop it! Thanks for your submission, hope you had fun making it! :D

Got two the second Boss and sadly gave up then. Superbuffs art was super buff. I liked that guy. I know ma Souls. I get this! However the unpredictable nature of the hitboxes really had me relying on spit like a mageuser scum. I guess you were going with Isaac-like transformations and a only boss-slaying gameplay. Which sounds super cool to me! If only the controls were a little tighter, the bosses HP a little lower I'd see me playing this til the last drop of content. As it stands I like the concept very much - and if it ever were to be a finished and polished game I'd spend some bucks on a steam version. :)

Very well done. I had some problems with the WebGL build, but the download (wow, 60MB Size) did work.
The Controls are not as direct and responsive as I would have liked them (especially roll and jump start with some small delay, for attack it is not always clear if i had hit the boss).

The Art on the other hand is very well executed. graphics and animations are super cute, they remind me of some of the worms games by team17.

The graphics are absolutely amazing for this game, I couldn't really figure out what all the different potions did though...

Great art, especially the bosses but backgrounds and animations as well. I think I get how fighting was meant to be, it was just not responsive enough for the combat to feel satisfying. A lot of potential, just needs time and polish. :)

Nice entry with cool graphics (well played for the animation of your boss). I finally beat the 2nd boss, and then the 3rd one kill me in a rush....Binding was a bit weird on my AZERTY keyboard, though! :)

Well played!

i liked that one.

a bit more feedback for the players may be nice. like... what will the potion do before i hit it? maybe a ui overlay for that. i had to restart 4 times to find out what they do.
also the hitboxes seemed weird sometimes (getting hits when being far away).

Fantstic art style and music, hard to understand what the potions did but a great entry.

It is really hard to understand what is expected of me. I was able able to understand what was the differences between the potions and the hitbox were really odd. The graphics and the audio are really well done though ! Keep at it ;)
