Nice game, very challenging. Some music would have been nice. Like the artstyle. Well done.

Cool. Collisions could have been a little more forgiving, would have upped the "fun" rank.

I really liked the fact that there's a visual feedback of the evolution, makes you want to find out how he looks like at the end! Good job!

the game is actually quiet hard. might be due to the complex controls...
nice though that you did it from scratch without using any frameworks.

"What, player is evolving!" Was so obviously going to turn up in this competition... yet it bought a smile to my face! :D Cute game. :)

Thanks for playing guys :)
Sorry about the simple "box collision" but since the game was built from scratch, there was just not enough time to do pixel perfect collision :/

Nice and smooth with retro graphics, what's not to like?

I must say I found it a bit disorientating when I exited one level and was placed on a totally different spot on the next one without warning.

simple and addictive. Altough I don't think that evolving helped me. loved it.

The red guys are really ruthless! I can't seem to do much to survive once they get my scent :( Nice game for something made from scratch :)

this was tough but i enjoyed it nonetheless. nice and smooth, variance in enemies is frightening (the blue guys to the red guys for example) but yeah, nice job!

Very good, played all the way to the end.
If I had a complaint it would only be that it was too easy.

Fun game, I like the controls and feel. Do the pickups actually give me a power up or just gating me from the next area?

Hah. Indeed the core gameplay in your game and mine is pretty much exactly the same. We have different takes on evolution though. The boss fight seemed a bit anticlimactic as it didn't seem to do anything to attack me. I liked the visual changes in the characters. Made me feel a sense of progression.

I had blast playing it. I couldn't figure out what the second form was.

Works smoothly but collision detection is painful, feels like I get hit when I shouldn't. Too tricky, felt like I had to spend all of my level ups on health as there was no other way to heal. Consistent, if simple art style. Sound was repetitive and hard on the ears.
