Nice work! The controls feels really good and it's solid throughout. The only issue I had was that sometimes while sprinting the jump wouldn't work, although it played the jumping sound. Other than that, solid entry. :)

I can't finsh the second level. I played it for way too long. I'm furstrated. The music is stuck in my head. Thanks.
Real talk though, from what I've seen it's a well rounded platformer. Looks good, sounds good and the levels (at least the first two) are interesting. It just so happens that I'm shit at it

This game is pretty hard, I didn't even finish the first level. The controls feel a bit unresponsive and the sliding on the ground is anoying. I suck at platformers though, so there is also that :D The music is pretty catchy though, and I like the style, too.

Excellent game! I really like the music and style. I can't beat the second level but I am not very good at platformers.

Not bad at all. The music fit with the art, but I might have enjoyed if there was just a little something else in the art -- maybe something red-ish to offset all the blue-grey. The controls felt a little weird because of the slow acceleration and the fact that I couldn't press W to jump, but they didn't feel unfair...i.e. I never thought "I only died because of the controls!"

Also, I wanna point out the good level design here. Only once did I find myself trying to 'grind' a section of a level, and once I thought it through it was fine. Even on a large scale, each level follows logically from the next. I especially liked the level with all the vertical climbing. With simple games like this, level design is the make-or-break factor, and this game was definitely made. Well done :)

Whew, this one is pretty difficult! It's good, though - the art is nicely done, and I really like the Indiana Jones-style gauntlet setting. Nice work!

Classic never gets old. I like every aspect of this game. Especially melody. Great job!

Pretty solid standard platforming. I do not like the skidding though, specially when speed otherwise is slow - it's makes it really hard for precision platforming and timing. Good work nevertheless! :D

Game mechanics are great, very challenging. Art and animations were great, along with the audio.

The game is quite hard but I really like it! Animations and graphics all fit together nicely and the level design wasn't too bad either - Keep up the good work!

Fun platformer! Looks neat too. I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZS5h_OweR3s

I like the general feel of this game, very retro! The controls are a little slippery for my tastes, but it might be a design choice. The game is quite hard, as I think it should. I got to almost the end of level 2 after about 15min of playing. The music is repetitive, but that contributes to the retro feel.

The sliding really through me off for platforming. I would have really liked a duck key for some of the parts.

Overall, pretty standard platformer that is well implemented. Level design was well done with a progression of difficulty.

Finally finished it! This game is very hard. That is good!

The walking animation stops once you're at full speed. The legs are then stationary while moving.

The music is very nice, I like the minimalistic retro-game feeling of it. It fits the graphics very nicely.
The art is also great, once you realize that the slightly different shade of purple walls are not walkable, you always know what to do. The objects and the character stand out from the background and look cool. As I said, I like the retro feeling of it all.

Also I find the music dropping when you die very funny :)

I would have like the arrow keys for controls better but that is just a personal preference.

You did a great job and I am looking forward to your next game in another LD :)

I'm really into your game! Art style works well with the theme, and the platforming is quite cool. I had some issues getting used to the inertia, felt a bit weird at first, but was okay after a while. Levels are really hard, but doable, in a way that makes me want to retry until getting the timing right (I haven't finished it, though... got to the 4th stage).

Cool game, thanks for it :D
