evoxy
A game about evolving a mysterious facetted "thing". Change his colors and behaviors by bringing the brightly colored meteors that fall from the sky to the altars. Surely it is susceptible to such generosity.
It's up to you to bend this "thing" to your will with the power of evolution!
WASD to move about.
E to "offer" meteor at altar.
SPACE to jump.
Note: There is no sound.
Note2: The webplayer has some annoying movement issues (stil playable!), I recommend getting the windows version though.
Please leave a comment and I hope you like it,

Right now there are no winning conditions to the game, the goal is simply to evolve it to a state you are happy and satisfied with.
I understand that it might not feel satisfying enough this way.
I was a little worried that it would be a little hard to figure out how to play but i'm happy to see you were able to play.
Did you figure out the specific effect of every color?
My favorite part was when after one too many black orbs, the thing went on a rampage and I was able to touch it. I was expecting to find a developer message or something inside it, heheh.
Only in Ludum Dare do you see games like this, and I love it when a game first disorients you and then offers you a sense of discovery.
I can let you know that you are slightly off on what the meteors do. I'm not sure if that's a success or failure on my part...
Thanks for all of your comments, I'm really excited to see that people have played my game.
Don't hesitate to post constructive criticism, I plan to adress some issues after the voting period.
Also, if you have issues with the webplayer you can try the following:
1. reload the page.
2. clear your browser cache.
3. download the standalone ;)
Unfortunately, I can't do anything to fix it.
